Combined effects of biochar and plant growth promoting bacteria Pseudomonas putida TSAU1 on plant growth, nutrient uptake of wheat, and soil enzyme activities

Many studies indicate the favorable effect of biochar on soil quality and plant fitness. A few interactions with rhizosphere bacteria their impact development nutrient acquisition have been reported. In this study, pot experiments in a glasshouse were performed to figure out interactive beneficial Pseudomonas putida TSAU6 amendment wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) growth, uptake, biological activity. The results demonstrated that root shoot dry biomass grown mixed combined P. TSAU1 enhanced significantly compared control plants. nitrogen (N) phosphorus (P) content affected by addition bacterial inoculant. It was also observed change enzyme activities, where higher fluorescein diacetate (FDA) protease activities after application soil. inoculant showed more profound growth N, P acquisition. This positive is associated are involved directly or indirectly N cycle. These findings confirm potential microbial inoculants induced improve production.
